General Informations About Golf clubs

There are 14 clubs in a full golf club set. This includes woods: 1, 3, and 5, golf irons 2 through 9. You will also have a pitching wedge, a putter and a sand wedge.

The main golf clubs in your golfing bag will be your titleist ap2 irons. There is cast iron or forged iron. The beginning golfer should start out with cast irons like callaway ft i-brid irons and so on. A more advance player would do well with forged irons.

The size of the head of a set of callaway x-22 irons is also a concern for serious golfers. A larger head is great for beginners, but not for the more advanced golfer as it is more difficult to control. For the beginning golfer the mid sized head is ideal.

Golf clubs are made of various materials. There is the cast iron head, the titanium head, and the stainless steel head. For the beginner a taylormade r9 irons with titanium golfing head is best. It is lighter and they are able to make the golfing head bigger because of it. Titanium is a little costly and not for everyone's budget. If titanium is too expensive for you then the next best thing is cast iron. Steel would be the last choice.
